The Road

13 Aug

The Road
There exists a road
somewhere betwixt
the light and darkness
part of neither
but touched…by both.

It is a road that many
travel whilst never realizing,
always thinking of the good or bad
but never of the gray in between
which encompasses them.

It is a smooth black highway
sometimes broken up by potholes;
and other times curved
like the meandering course
of the exploring squirrel,
swinging between the light
and the dark,
with no discernable reason.

This road is one of perdition,
yet also of celebration.
It is a road of tribulation,
sprinkled with jubilation.
Yet in the end
it really has but one name.

It is the road of Life.
We all must travel it,
as we approach
that which exists
beyond the veil.
For when we reach its end
a new journey…
a new road—awaits.

So you finally brought me here, I will be posting all the trashy first steps while I try to figure this place out to set my identity…in the meantime I am undercover lol!
    A new road awaits, Craig.
